COMMISSION.
Land People Habitat designs and manages landscapes that integrate healthy ecosystems with human use.
THE HOME FRONT is our unique opportunity to personally contribute to environmental stewardship.
Land People Habitat creatively approaches every residential landscape project as a living, functional piece of earth. Whether screening, adding a cutting or vegetable garden, or siting a patio or a birdhouse, we endeavor to preserve, conserve, and restore the intrinsic character of a site.

We offer thoughtful garden and landscape design services and property stewardship plans that combine traditional horticulture with ecology. The following planting schemes use native plants and select, non-native trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, and bulbs.
- Meadow, woodland, and shrub habitat gardens
- Low maintenance gardens
- Pollinator & butterfly gardens
- Fruit, vegetable, and herb edible habitat gardens
- Riparian buffer gardens
- Deer resistant plantings
Inspired by the beauty of the garden, we also offer:
- Seasonal container curation and planting
- Seasonal floral design
PUBLIC, COMMERCIAL, AND INSTITUTIONAL LANDSCAPES can express a commitment to sustainability. Sustainable campus and park landscape and management plans apply planting and maintenance techniques to revive healthy ecologies within the context of built environments and across larger tracts of land. Land People Habitat plans seek to reduce labor, expenses, and inputs while increasing biodiversity and landscape function. We partner with our clients and communities to create places of lasting importance.
